Another average day – nothing special to report, but nothing horrible either. My weight hasn’t budged. Not even a measly 200g. I’m about ready to toss them out the window and order a pizza…. but I won’t, tempting as it is. I have a feeling next week is going to be crazy, so I need to stick to my routine as much as possible.
The TV was being watched today, so I couldn’t do my TurboJam workout – instead, I hopped on the treadmill. It’s been a while since I’ve ran – I’ve been busy doing TJ, or being sick, or just walking slowly, so I decided to give it a go and see how far I could get. Tonight I ran for 22:30 minutes! (including one 30 second water break after 10 minutes). I stopped when I hit exactly 3kms ran. Not too bad, hey? Slow but steady, and I don’t feel too horrible afterwards either.
I also bought a new sports bra from Ebay last week which I tested today, and it did a fairly good job at holding me in – I still am yet to find a bra I’m completely in LOVE with for running, though. And when did they become so expensive, anyway?
Food today – weetbix with warm milk, 2 x cheese scones (thanks to Kellie, YUM, my mum thinks they’re a hit too!), 1 banana on a bread roll, water, tea & dinner will most likely be risotto leftovers since I forgot to eat it yesterday… like I said, nothing special!
